For people that don't know the current "Fix" for new player experience to be centered around Vanilla Servers is for every Modded Server to be Red. The Alta team is open to suggestions on a Better way to handel this instead of completly blocking out Modded Servers.

The console is used by alot of server owners and experienced server owners who try to keep things running smoothly. And by putting the console-activated servers to the background, you just end up with a list full of servers hosted by people with little experience or knowledge on how to fix certain bugs, exploits and trolls.
But I kinda understand the reasoning of Alta for doing this.
A great majority of players have never even experienced the vanilla feel (no xp boost, Drop on Death enabled, having to make all the structures yourself and having the only lockboxes be located at the townhall God bless).

As a Server owner with over 8k members I cant imagine this climb without being able to assist the players when needed, or being able to curate fun events (aka keeping them from getting bored of this game that doesnt have anything beyond a couple trials).
In all, it is disappointing that there doesnt seem to be any official statement as to what they plan, shouldn't people be notified that their server is being deleted for being modded/using console at all??
As for myself, I won't contine to play and support such a game that turns a blind eye to their own damage.

I am a admin on a small server and use console often. Now the server can’t grow because of this decision. I’m already thinking about talking to the owner to shut it down. I hate the fact that we get punished for using console. Console is not modded its a way to ban people and keep up server maintenance. This was a stupid decision that should be reversed.

I love ATT and am very appreciative towards Alta for all they’ve done. But this is an honestly terrible idea. Your most successful and most played servers are all modded to some degree. To remove these servers from the sight of new and returning players both is a horrible idea.
Please reverse this, Alta. This is how games die. Don’t be like other developers who don’t listen to their players feedback. I don’t want to lose something that I’ve associated so many good memories to.
Add a filter to show modded or vanilla servers. Add a flare “*” next to to servers to let players know if it’s modded or not. There are plenty of better workarounds than just making these modded servers near invisible to new players.

This needs reversed no offense to Alta but vanilla servers are boring and say a griefer or a thief comes through and vis glitches your bag directly off your back admins can’t spawn back in your items they can’t ban the person without commands

How out of touch can a games management be. Excluding modded servers in a already dying game will only hasten its fall.
I'd support vanilla servers to be more visible if vanilla ATT would get frequent content updates, but by now the game has been watered down to one update every 2 years it's up to server owners to switch the game up and add stuff.
Just give modded servers a small "*" in the menu with the description "modded" server and let people choose per button press to hide / show modded servers. Don't just take away options.

This choice makes no sense, at this point they are asking for their game to die. I only know a few people who enjoy vanilla servers. Most people enjoy the modded servers. So for modded servers to stay up and running the same group of people will have to join, which gets boring. This is a poor business choice, I hope they change it or something.

From a business stand point I'm not sure how this can be helpful. I know I personally have no interest in playing on a vanilla server, didn't want to from the very beginning. I'm sure I can't be alone in that, and while I don't buy talems every rotation I do buy them. Why cut off any revenue source when something as simple as adding a modded/unmodded filter to the server search can serve both types of players?
